How can the law librarian help me?
A Law Librarian can provide legal and procedural information and direct you to resources for conducting your legal research. They can provide instruction on how to use print and electronic legal resources. Law Librarians cannot do the research for you, prepare documents for you, or provide legal advice.
About The FSMSCLL
The FSM Supreme Court Law Library(s) (FSMSCLL) is composed of a total of four libraries. The main law library is located in Palikir, Pohnpei at the FSM Supreme Court Main Office, and one library located in each of the three FSM Supreme Court Offices located in Chuuk, Yap and Kosrae. The two law libraries located in the states of Yap and Kosrae are shared and operated by both the FSM and the State Courts. With the generous donations and support received from members of the judiciary, legal profession, family members, and other law libraries in the Pacific, our collections of legal materials continue to grow. These materials enrich the library’s legal collections and are used by researchers to improve users’ collective understanding of FSM’s laws and beyond. FSMSCLL gratefully acknowledges the generosity of its donors and benefactors who have supported our law libraries throughout the year.
